How To Be Alone.

I've started college this past week, and let's just say things are a little different than what I'm use to. This week has been like a roller coaster—full of ups and downs. "How To Be Alone" brought me much needed perspective that remedied the blues.

  1. There is so much freedom in living when you are comfortable being alone.

  2. Juma, I started classes last week at UCF too. I’m Chris’s girlfriend…a film major that you met during orientation. I love “How to be Alone.” It’s rather beautiful and quite insightful. Good choice.

  3. Bri Manning, thank you for expressing your appreciation—it’s nice to know what I share occasionally reaches others. When I watched this video it really gave me a much needed perspective, and allowed me to reexamine this common fear. That’s the power of film, and that’s what I love some much about it. The ability to bring perspective.

Forgive me for snooping, but I checked out your Flickr account and photos on Facebook. You’ve captured some really interesting photographs, and have an obvious eye for creating compelling images. Maybe I’ll see you and Chris around campus sometime. Take care.
